OK, so it's 3700 words. Same shit.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions: an imaginary interview with the creators of Quick Stabbing Motions, Keegan "LonelyWurm" Mullin and Brandon "Shrek" Southgate:

Where do you draw your inspiration?
Well, first we chug a bottle or three of beer each. Then we look into the bottles. Sometimes we find stuff in there. Usually dust or chunks of drywall. Sometimes we throw quarters at each other until ideas form, or one of us loses an eye. Whichever comes first. One time I got this really killer welt when I got hit in the shin with a Looney...

Fascinating. How often do you intend to update?
A:
Right after I finish drawing them, usually... I'm not one to keep people waiting unnecessarily. Kind of a mean thing to do, don't you agree?

Erm, I meant how often.
Oh. I guess eventually I might try to get 'em done a lot, but right now its just whenever... maybe weekly, maybe whenever I sober up enough to figure out FTP.

Indeed. Do you plan to have a recurring theme?
Well, as you can tell by the name, sharp objects will appear regularly. Usually resting (un)comfortably inside of organs. Aside from that, we'll probably have a lot of bachelor-life jokes. Unless Keegan manages to find himself a girlfriend. So, a lot of bachelor-life jokes.

So what made you decide to draw a webcomic?
Alcohol. Seriously. Everything featured in this webcomic has been done under the influence. I'm drinking as we speak. I was drinking when I drew them. We're drinking when we're thinking of what the fuck to do a comic about. Half the time we're drinking and swordfighting. I myself don't have a right arm as a result of a particularly nasty nigh -

Moving on! Where did the name of the webcomic come from?
A bottle of wine.

So you were drunk?
No, the bottle had a genie in it. He's brilliant at this sorta shit.

I see... how do you draw the comic?
With my left hand, as you might imagine.

No, I me - like, do you use a tablet or paper or what?
I mostly work with a Wacom tablet, grey, 6" by 8" and draw right into Photoshop. My wacom tablet also shares desk space with speakers and
a permanent bottle of alcohol.

What kind of alcohol?
That's between me and the genie.

Hmm. So who does what for the comic, exactly?
Well, we share the idea process pretty evenly. Usually Shrek throws the ideas on paper and streamlines them into a three-frame plan while I down a bottle or two. After that I pencil out a few characters and get the words in, then Shrek takes over and fills in the colours. Doesn't sound like much, but that's a few hours work.

I can imagine, with the alcohol and all. Anything you'd like to add?
Well, this is a lot farther than we'd ever expected to get things, so I'll thank Jesus or Allah or genetics. Wherever the good fortune comes from. Plus Keegan dropping out of school, else he'd never have the time or inclination to do this while drinking. Umm, I guess I have to thank the entirety of the internet for Photoshop, because I don't remember who actually hacked the copy I use. And I have to thank everyone that's allowing me to use an image of them in the comic. I don't really want to, but I have to.

Alright then, thanks guys.
Oh, it was no problem really. You gonna pay us now, or out in the office?

Not having a real job helps too
